Are there required hours?
Family Managers commit 10 - 40 hours per week. They set their weekly schedule so it aligns best for them & their families. Schedules are set monthly or quarterly.
What is a Family Manager?
At Rosie, a Family Manager is a smart, efficient & empathetic person who loves to support families and their homes. This could look like doing school drop-off, room tidying, meal prep & dishes, organization projects, and more.
What is a Rosie Pro?
A Rosie Pro supports families the same way - with household & childcare - but doesn't commit to a weekly schedule with any one family. Pros work with Rosie for a minimum of 3 months.
What is the Pro Career Ladder?
The Pro Career Ladder gives opportunity to Pros who show up & consistently do an amazing job. Each new step gives you increased base pay, priority session access, and other benefits.
How is this different from babysitting or nannying?
Pros are more like mother's helpers, not babysitters. You are an extra set of hands to the parents, helping with anything that needs support - either watching the kids or doing chores. Plus, its flexible and consistent work that Rosie finds for you.
What kind of hours do I work? What's my schedule?
You tell us when you're available and we match you with families during those windows. Family Managers set their own weekly schedules for their families. The more availability you set, the more, better opportunities you get.
How will I earn?
Family Managers get guaranteed weekly pay starting at $25 per hour. Pros earn for every hour worked, plus bonuses. Rosie pays out immediately after sessions complete.
What makes a good Family Manager?
The best Family Managers have real childcare experience (paid or in your own family), are proactive and bring warmth, judgment, and follow-through. You are detail oriented and efficient when it comes to supporting a busy home (think laundry, dishes, and house projects!). You love organizing, creating systems, and supporting wonderful families.
Can I apply if I have another job?
Yes. And many Pros do. Whether you're in school, working part-time, or piecing a few things together, Rosie is built to flex around your life.
